Transform Your Mind, Transform Your Body
Hi, I'm Amy Lewis, a Registered nNurse and a Weight Loss Coach based in Woodinville, WA. I believe that true health and wellness come from a holistic approach that addresses the mind, body, and soul. My approach is unique because I focus on the mind and brain to help clients develop healthy relationships with food and exercise.
Autonomy
As a nurse, this is engrained in me; I provide rationales, statistical information, research, and my own observations, but it is your job to take that information and filter it through your value system and come up with the best decision for you. I am not here to convince you of anything, I’m here to give you the information and offer fresh perspective. I fully and wholeheartedly respect your ability to make the best decision for you.
Integrity
Too often it feels like a bait and switch. “Lose 30 pounds in 60 days” gets attention; I understand why but at the end of the day, I’ve experienced repeated failed dieting attempts over decades. I get the emotional toll it takes on an individual, and I never want to contribute. I never want to be associated with any sleazy marketing schemes. There is no gatekeeping, no fear mongering, no empty promises. I intentionally only put out there what I feel to be morally genuine and honest.
Efficiency
Something I value greatly. We are all very busy, and I want to add effective change to your life in the most efficient way possible. It's far more than how fast you get to your goal, it's more about how well you can make progress to your goal while also managing everything else in your life.
Transparency
We live in a world where information is at our fingertips. Nothing in my coaching isn’t out there for free on the internet. I have nothing to gain by purposefully leaving things out or making it more challenging for you. If you have questions message me, I'm happy to direct you to resources and provide support.
“I’m truly grateful for everything Amy has taught me. I learned more from her in a few weeks than months working with a nutritionist. I’ve been fighting for years to be in a healthy control of my body, brain etc. and Amy taught me how to do that.”

“Before working with Amy I had tried everything, I would lose weight and gain it all back it was an awful and painful rollercoaster. Initially I was hesitant and felt insecure about working with a coach, I was worried about feelings of judgement. Deciding to work with Amy was easy, I saw her journey, read and listened about her approach and it felt different, genuine. I’m so happy I did, the experience has been truly amazing. There was absolutely no judgement, she listened and took everything in and provided excellent advice. I learned so much it’s hard to sum it all up but things like how to manage my thoughts, the nutrition my body needed and how to plan it into my day, self-care, how to maintain my weight and how to manage it all when life gets hard. I would absolutely recommend Amy, she’s a rockstar and does amazing things for people to help them on the right path!”

“Before I started working with Amy I was very active, I worked out 5-6 days a week, I just wasn’t seeing the results I wanted. I ate a lot of rice and pasta, finished up the kid’s leftovers after my meal, and snacked on chips and cereal at night. I started by reducing carbs, eating more protein and vegetables, which worked great during the week but on the weekends I’d lose all my progress. With lots of social gatherings or eating out it would cause me to go back to where I started each week.
I was hesitant to hire a coach because I’d have to talk about my bad eating habits and didn’t want to feel embarrassed. I wondered if I would be honest or if I would hide stuff. I decided to work with Amy because I knew her from work, I saw the progress and results she achieved over time, so I felt I could trust her.
My experience in coaching with Amy was that she was very open and honest, with lots of questions that made me think about my habits and thoughts around food. But never judgmental and never made me feel bad. I was comfortable with sharing my thoughts and feelings, since I knew I had the support and was always encouraged by Amy.
I was able to learn how to create the tools to help reach my goals, how to implement them consistently, develop a mind shift to overcome challenges, and create safeguards in case of obstacles. For example, I learned how to meal plan, what my target macros were, how to eat out at a social gathering, or on vacation; and how to focus on what my goals were.
I would absolutely recommend working with Amy! Health and nutrition coaching is not about dieting, it’s about finding what works to fit into your lifestyle to make changes around food and exercise, that is sustainable for you to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I really found most helpful were our weekly phone recap and updates, follow up emails, photos of healthy/nutritional food ideas, information and resources, and words of encouragement.
-Amy H. at GOAL!
Amy has been the best mentor, motivator, supporter, helper, teacher and inspiration I could have asked for. She lives it on a daily basis. She is not scared to talk about it and share all the things. She’s still right in the middle of it, managing her health and self care on a daily basis. She doesn’t come at you with answers that you need to just accept and conform to.
Amy will work with you on your specific situation to help identify what works best for you. She’s every day real and talk’s about how to manage your own weight loss and health journey in a sustainable way. She will teach you how to remove the negativity and take a holistic approach without reproach. I stopped beating myself up and learned how to move forward each day without resentment of the process or personal recriminations.
